Consideration for the Alabama Environmental Health Association (AEHA) award shall be based on the nominee’s outstanding contribution to the field of environmental health and one or more of the designated activities.
Scholarship Details
- Presented to an undergraduate student during the AEHA annual meeting
- Designed to support eligible students pursuing a degree in environmental health or related fields
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a current junior or senior enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university
- Must be a resident of Alabama
- Must be pursuing a degree in environmental health, or a degree that includes at least 20 semester hours in biology, chemistry, environmental science, mathematics or physical science
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application form
- Obtain a current unofficial transcript
- Provide proof of Alabama residency
- Write an essay of 300 words or less explaining what environmental health means to you
- Submit the complete application package by mail so it is postmarked by the application deadline
- Ensure all required materials are included, as incomplete applications will be disqualified
