  • Scholarship Description
  • The Ann and Peter Ziegler Scholarship has been established through The CNM Foundation to assist women majoring in Liberal Arts who are single parents and who plan to transfer to a four-year institution. Students must be majoring in liberal arts, plan to transfer to a four-year institution, be a single parent and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants are required to be enrolled in a minimum of 9 hours and have completed at least 12 college level credits at CNM. Midway through his "It's OK to be White" speech at the University of Connecticut, Conservative commentator Lucian Wintrich was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct after he grabbed a woman who had swiped his notes off his lectern. The charges have since been dropped and in a reversal, the woman was arrested and charged with attempted larceny and disorderly conduct.
