Applicants of the Charles Clarke Cordle Memorial Scholarship can belong to any active Amateur Radio License Class. Applicants must be a resident of Georgia or Alabama, and plan on attending an institution in Georgia or Alabama. Preference will be given students majoring in electronics, communications ore related fields. In addition, a GPA of at least a 2.5 is required. Applicants must be holding an amateur radio license for at least one year.
All applicants of ARRL scholarships must be active, FCC-licensed amateur radio operators [note: Active foreign amateur radio operators are eligible for The ARDC Scholarships.] All applicants must submit a completed online application. Transcripts and and additional required documents must be submitted with the application and not emailed separately. Applicants can be either citizens of the United States or other countries, and can be in any level of education (but be at least high school seniors).
