  • Scholarship Description
  • The Center for Public Integrity (CPI) is a nonprofit digital news organization dedicated to producing original, responsible investigative journalism on issues of public concern. Journalists, FOIA experts, researchers, and data experts conduct domestic and cross-border investigations into a wide range of topics, including: the environment, public health, government accountability, federal and state lobbying, and financial regulatory reform. Projects and stories are produced on the CPI website, as well as distributed through mainstream media outlets.

    CPI is looking for graduate fellows with:
    -Solid reporting experience
    -Strong writing skills
    -Experience and/or interest in investigative journalism
    -U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required

    Recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student in the corresponding master's program.

A controversial immigration debate was canceled this week by a student group at The University of Chicago - a university which "prides itself on protecting free speech, even offensive speech."
