Applicants of the Hellenic University Club of Philadelphia Scholarship must be of Greek descent, U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents of eligible counties in Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania. Graduate students may elect to use their school address as permanent address if they submit taxes on their own. Students who are declared majors in Greek Studies may also apply, regardless of their heritage. Eleftheria applicants have no residency requirements. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
In all of the Club’s activities since its beginning, there is much that would please the founding members and much to satisfy the present membership of more than 300. However, no activity surpasses in significance the Hellenic University Club Scholarship Program. Through generous donors’ named scholarships and major fundraising efforts, our Scholarship Fund has grown, and the number and amount of scholarships we offer continues to be strong.
