The H.H. Kildee Scholarship supports graduate study for students who have excelled in dairy cattle judging. Students pursuing advanced studies related to the dairy industry are encouraged to apply. Scholarship recipients are recognized at the Dairy Shrine Awards Banquet.
Scholarship Details
- Up to two scholarships of $3,000 each are awarded
- The scholarship may be used at the school of the recipient’s choice
- The scholarship is paid in two installments
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be in their senior year of college through the first year after graduation
- Applicants must have excelled in dairy cattle judging.
- Eligible fields include production agriculture, manufacturing, marketing, agricultural law, business, veterinary medicine and environmental sciences
Application Process
- Review all scholarship requirements before beginning the application
- Obtain one letter of recommendation from a faculty member who is familiar with your activities and academic achievements
- Mail an official transcript showing all college courses for review by the Dairy Shrine Executive Director
- Submit the completed application, recommendation letter and transcript between March 1st and April 15th by midnight CST
