  • Scholarship Description
  • The Moloney Fellowship offers a first-year medical student the opportunity to participate in laboratory research with an accomplished investigator. The selected Fellow will receive a stipend of $5,000.

    Upon selection, the Fellow is placed at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, MA to work on a Hematology/Oncology
    research project at a lab secured by the fellow. Dr. Moloney's influence was felt specifically at the Tufts, Boston University and Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women's Hospital.

    Eligibility:
    -Applicants must be enrolled at Boston University, Harvard or Tufts medical school
    -Students must have selected a faculty sponsor who will work with him or her to write a proposal for a summer research project
    -Each candidate must submit copies of two letters of recommendation previously obtained for application to medical school
    -Minority students and students with American Cancer Society volunteer experience are encouraged to apply
