Each year, the Genesis HealthCare Foundation awards scholarships to deserving youth in Muskingum, Perry, Guernsey, Coshocton, Noble and Morgan counties pursuing a degree in healthcare. Applicants will automatically be considered for all the scholarships for which they are eligible. Only one application is needed to be considered for all eligible scholarships. Specific criteria will vary by scholarship, but applicants for any award must have a 3.0 GPA. The total number of recipients and the maximum dollar amounts will also vary.
Besides completing the application, applicants must also submit: verification of college acceptance or official college schedule; two letters of reference from a non-relative; verification of a high school or college transcript; the most recent IRS tax return from both the student and parents/guardians (Students who are married and/or 26 years of age or older need not submit parents’ tax information.); and a typed response to the listed essay questions.
