The mission of ICASE is to serve, support and represent special education administrators in Indiana in order to provide high impact learning opportunities for all students. One goal of ICASE is to build capacity among its members and continue to develop future leaders in special education.
Scholarship Details
- Two scholarships of $1,000 each awarded annually
- Supports individuals pursuing a Director of Exceptional Needs license in Indiana
- Application opens October 1st
- Deadline for submission is December 30th
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be accepted or currently enrolled in a Director of Exceptional Needs licensing program in Indiana
- Must be nominated by a current special education director
- Must intend to become an administrator in the field of special education
Application Process
- Obtain a nomination from a current special education director
- Complete the scholarship application form
- Submit two letters of recommendation:
- One from a current special education director
- One from an immediate supervisor or program professor
- Write and submit an essay titled: “What contributions do I intend on making as an administrator in the field of Special Education?”
- Submit all materials by December 30th
For more than 50+ years, the Indiana Council of Administrators of Special Education (ICASE) members have worked tirelessly on improving the lives of students with disabilities. Application period will open on October 1st.
