The Association’s Graduate Education Fund supports American and Australian Graduate-level students and researchers across multiple sectors through various focused scholarship pathways. We seek to support projects and people that advance strategic, bilateral outcomes between Australia and the United States, through opportunities that strengthen policy, research, education, and commercial ties.
Scholarship Details
- Award amount: up to $40,000 for one year
- Supports Master’s, Ph.D., and Postdoctoral study
- Funds may be used for tuition, travel, living expenses, and related costs
- Program must be at least one year in duration or have one year remaining
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an American citizen or permanent resident (for USA to Australia applicants)
- Must have an offer of admission from an accredited institution in Australia
- Must be pursuing study or research in STEM, health, medicine, or sustainability fields
- Must be enrolled in a graduate-level program (Master’s, Ph.D., or Postdoctoral)
- May already be enrolled, but must have at least one year remaining
Application Process
- Secure admission to an accredited institution in Australia.
- Complete the scholarship application.
- Provide required academic and program documentation.
- Participate in an interview if selected as a finalist.
- Await final selection notification following interviews.
