The Simon Scholar Physician Assistant Program offers full-tuition scholarships to first-generation, underserved college students pursuing their MMS degrees through Chapman University's Physician Assistant (PA) Program.
Scholarship Details
- The program involves the opportunity to graduate in 2 years
- Alumni work in all kinds of healthcare fields
- 10 scholarships are awarded each year
Eligibility Criteria
- First-generation college student
- Underserved background
- Primary residence in Orange or San Diego County, California
- Demonstrate financial need
- Leadership experience, community service, and excellent academic record
- Plan to attend the Chapman University PA Program
Application Process
- Use the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) portal to apply to Chapman University's PA Program.
- Fill out the Simon Scholar Physician Assistant scholarship application form, which includes:
- A personal essay
- Your tax information
- 3 letters of recommendation
- Submit the scholarship application in advance of the deadline.
- If selected as a finalist, participate in an interview process with the scholarship committee
