Scholarship Description

The Simon Scholar Physician Assistant Program offers full-tuition scholarships to first-generation, underserved college students pursuing their MMS degrees through Chapman University's Physician Assistant (PA) Program.

Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria

  • First-generation college student
  • Underserved background
  • Primary residence in Orange or San Diego County, California
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Leadership experience, community service, and excellent academic record
  • Plan to attend the Chapman University PA Program

Application Process

  1. Use the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA) portal to apply to Chapman University's PA Program.
  2. Fill out the Simon Scholar Physician Assistant scholarship application form, which includes:

    • A personal essay
    • Your tax information
    • 3 letters of recommendation
  3. Submit the scholarship application in advance of the deadline.
  4. If selected as a finalist, participate in an interview process with the scholarship committee
