The member companies of The Transformer Association (TTA) have established an academic scholarship program for the coming academic year to support qualified students enrolled in degree programs who have exhibited an interest in transformers or power conversion design through course work or other activities, and who might be considering a career in the transformer industry.
Scholarship Details
- One-time scholarship award
- Award amount: $2,500
- Includes an expense-paid trip to the TTA Annual Meeting
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled full-time at an undergraduate or graduate student in North America
- Must be pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, magnetics, transformer design, or a related field
- Must demonstrate interest in transformers or power conversion through coursework or experience
Application Process
- Prepare a resume including academic and extracurricular details.
- Write a letter describing your interest and experience in transformer-related fields.
- Obtain a letter of recommendation from a professor or academic advisor.
- Submit a certified academic transcript.
TTA will award a scholarship based on academic merit and the applicant’s demonstrated experience and interest in the field of power conversion. The scholarship will be awarded in the form of a one-time grant of $2,500, based on the review of applications and the judgment of the TTA Scholarship Committee and Board of Directors.
