  • Scholarship Description
  • The ACF Woodcock Family Education Scholarship Program was established in 1993 by Albuquerque businessman C.E. (Woody) Woodcock and his wife, Dixie, to support students of exceptional promise in the fields of science and math. This is intended for students with strong math and/or science credentials. Scholarships will be awarded to Albuquerque metro area high school graduating seniors (includes Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia and Torrance Counties).

    Scholarships are payable over four years. Applicants must possess strong math and/or science credentials, plan to enroll full-time at a college/university, have a minimum 3.8 GPA and a minimum ACT composite score of 30 or minimum SAT Math score of 680. Two to three scholarships, for $10,000 payable over four years, will be awarded. Applicants must also a personal statement outlining their career goals, as well as a letter of reference indicating their good standing and community service.

My goal is to pursue my education and go into the field of biomedical engineering.My strong suits are math and science.I actually found my passion for science in my physics class, i fell in love. Currently i have a 3.904 GPA. Here i am trying to apply for any scholarship i can to pursue my love of science and mathematics. i am the first of my family to go to college.i am going to do as much as possible for my mother supports 5 on 21,000 a year.Thank you

Hello, I am a Grade 11 student, and I really want to be a Doctor. I love seeing myself doing Doctor's performing, However, We don't have that budget to help us to pursue my dream. This is my dream and I really aware that I am living to chase my dream. Thank you, God Bless.

Scholarship in this site are pretty good. But, l wanted to enroll in such a good school that offers Science and Math courses. Specially, I'm planning to get Science degree in college. I think, Woodcock Family Education Scholarship Program will be a big help to everyone especially to those who are planning to study which has a correlation with science and mathematics. I am also in goodwill to everybody, where students around the world, and I can perfectly and beautifully cohabitate.
