The Arnie M. Miller "Find-A-Way Attitude" Scholarship recognizes cosmetology students who demonstrate creativity, determination, and the perseverance to overcome challenges. Funded by The Sydell and Arnold Miller Foundation, the scholarship celebrates Arnold Miller's belief that every obstacle has a solution for those willing to think creatively and work hard. The award supports aspiring beauty professionals as they pursue their education and careers in cosmetology.
Scholarship Details
- One scholarship of up to $15,000 is awarded
- Funded by The Sydell and Arnold Miller Foundation
- Supports students enrolled in accredited cosmetology programs
- Summer application period runs from June 1st through July 31st
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a new or currently enrolled student in a cosmetology program
- Must provide proof of acceptance to or enrollment at an accredited school or institution
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the cosmetology program
Application Process
- Complete the scholarship application during the application period.
- Submit proof of acceptance or current enrollment at an accredited cosmetology school.
- Upload three photos showcasing your artistic cosmetology work on a mannequin, client, friend, or family member.
- Create and submit a public YouTube video of no more than three minutes addressing the required scholarship questions.
- Submit all required materials by July 31st at 11:59 p.m. PST.
