The Dorrance Scholarship is a renewable award of $12,000 per academic year for first-generation Arizona students with financial need.

Eligibility Criteria
- Arizona resident
- High school senior
- First-generation
- Demonstrated financial need
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Minimum 1110 SAT or 22 ACT
- Plan to attend and live on-campus at ASU-Tempe, NAU-Flagstaff, or UA-Tucson
Application Process
- Complete the FAFSA and submit it well in advance of the deadline.
- Gather all required documents, including:
- High school transcript
- Test scores
- FAFSA Student Summary
- Complete and submit the Dorrance Scholarship Application in advance of the deadline, as well as all required documents.
- If selected as a semi-finalist, submit further application materials, including writing samples and recommendations.
- If selected as a finalist, attend an in-person interview in Tempe, AZ.
- If selected as a recipient, attend the required Orientation and Bridge Programs.
Dorrance scholars are supported in all academic endeavors, including study abroad experiences. Scholars receive a dedicated advisor and tutoring if needed.
