Scholarship Details
- Application window: February 1st – March 31st each year
- All applications must be submitted through the online portal
- Scholarship awards are based on unmet financial need as determined by tuition, fees, housing, and textbooks not covered by other aid
- Maximum payment per term: $2,500 for full-time students ($1,250 for part-time)
- Children’s Fund Scholarship awards up to $5,000 for private school or up to $5,000 total for tutoring services
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a dependent or spouse of a fallen or disabled U.S. service member
- For Higher Education applicants, must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA for the two most recent academic terms
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. college, university, or approved educational institution
- For Children’s Fund applicants, must be enrolled in a private K–12 school or registered tutoring program provided by an established business
- Schools or programs must be located in the United States or U.S. Territories
Application Process
- Visit the provider's website between February 1st and March 31st
- Select the appropriate scholarship type
- Complete the online form and upload required documents, including transcripts, tuition statements, and any other supporting information
- Submit the completed application before March 31st
- Once selected, follow the Scholarship Acceptance – Check In process to verify school information and submit an official invoice
The Folds of Honor Scholarship provides meaningful educational opportunities for families of U.S. service members who have sacrificed for our country. If you sustained a catastrophic injury that ended your career as a first responder, your spouse and dependents are eligible for our scholarships.
