The WunderGlo Foundation Scholarship has been established to promote the continued support and development of “The Children of WunderGlo” whose lives have been impacted by a parent who has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. The scholarship is intended to assist students who wish to pursue further education to enhance their lives.
Scholarship Details
- Three annual scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors
- Scholarship amount for 2026 is $4,000 per recipient
- Funding provided by The Gloria Borges WunderGlo Foundation with additional support from memorial grant funding
- Scholarships intended to assist students pursuing community college, four year college or university programs, nursing programs, military service education, or professional trade schools
- Actual award funds released upon proof of registration
- Applications must be submitted using the official fillable PDF form available on the foundation’s website
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a graduating high school student
- Applicant must have lost a parent to colorectal cancer
- Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
- Applicant must be accepted to an eligible post secondary program
Application Process
- Download and complete the official WunderGlo Scholarship application form from the foundation website
- Prepare all required personal, academic, and eligibility information as outlined in the application
- Contact the foundation at becky@wunderglofoundation.org for support if encountering issues with the form
- Submit the completed application and required documentation by the posted deadline
- Provide proof of registration to receive scholarship funds if selected
Actual scholarship monies will be awarded upon proof of registration. Three (3) $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to the selected student recipients from additional Grant Funding that was received by The Gloria Borges WunderGlo Foundation -In Memory of Deborah Rachel Goldberg, from her father, Dr. Marshall Goldberg, in his beloved daughter’s honor.
