Scholarship Description

Since 2004, INCIGHT has awarded more than 1,005 scholarships to students with disabilities pursuing higher education. These scholars are enrolled in Community College, University, Vocational School and Graduate Programs. Students who demonstrate outstanding service to their community and overcome personal obstacles are awarded scholarships from INCIGHT.

Scholarship Details

  • Open to students with disabilities pursuing higher education
  • Available to residents of Washington, Oregon, and California
  • Scholarship can be used for community college, university, vocational, or graduate programs
  • Recipients may reapply in future years

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a current resident of Washington, Oregon, or California
  • Must have a documented disability, including but not limited to autism, deafness, learning disabilities, or visual impairment
  • Must be enrolled in a higher education institution during the upcoming funding cycle

Application Process

  1. Visit the INCIGHT website to access the scholarship application
  2. Complete and submit the online application with all required documents

Anything defined as a ‘disability’ according to ADA standards qualifies. If you are eligible for social security benefits covered by the ADA or have a disability classified by the DSM-V, it is safe to say that you are eligible our scholarship. High school students whose disability falls under the IDEA or qualifies them for an IEP or 504 plan are also eligible for INCIGHT's Scholarship Program.
