Each year the IETF awards up to 10, $7,500 scholarships to qualified post-high school students of all ages, to lessen the burden of higher education. The scholarships can be used for supplies, books or tuition at licensed, accredited institutions of higher education (including trade schools) and are paid directly to the educational institution.
Scholarship Details
- Up to ten scholarships of $7,500 each
- For post-high school students diagnosed with essential tremor
- Can be used for tuition, books, supplies at accredited educational institutions or trade schools
- Awards are paid directly to the educational institution
Eligibility Criteria
- High school or GED graduate of any age
- Diagnosed with essential tremor
- Attending a licensed, accredited institution of higher learning
- Minimum 3.0 Unweighted Cumulative GPA
Application Process
- Complete the application form available on the IETF website
- Submit a letter of acceptance from the educational program director
- Provide the most recent high school or higher education transcript
- Write an essay (limited to 500 words) on “How has ET affected my life?”
- Include a doctor’s letter confirming ET diagnosis
