The J&J Trujillo Memorial Scholarship is providing scholarships up to $12,500 to high school seniors and high school graduates in Arizona, Minnesota and New Mexico, who plan to enroll in full-time undergrad study at an accredited trade, vocational or technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
Scholarship Details
- Scholarship awards of up to $12,500
- Funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies
- Award amount may not exceed the total cost of attendance for eligible expenses
- Scholarships are one-time awards and are not renewable
- Recipients may not reapply after receiving an award
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a resident of Arizona, New Mexico, or Minnesota
- Must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or current undergraduate student
- Must plan to enroll full time in an accredited trade, vocational, or technical school
- Must be pursuing a trade degree or certificate such as HVAC, electrical, automotive, plumbing, or carpentry
- Must demonstrate financial need
Application Process
- Complete the online scholarship application through the designated application platform
- Provide academic records and background information
- Submit a statement describing educational and career goals
- Request and submit one online recommendation
- Ensure all required materials are submitted by the application deadline
- Monitor email for notification of scholarship decisions in mid April
Applicants will be notified in mid April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Notifications are sent via email. When setting up your account, avoid using a school or work email. Instead, use an active, personal email address that you will continue to have access to.
