The Kenneth and Marcia Johnson Scholarship supports students from select counties in Pennsylvania who are pursuing higher education at an accredited undergraduate college, university, or technical/trade school. Special preference is given to students pursuing careers in aviation-related fields.
Scholarship Details
- Open to students accepted into or currently enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate degree program or accredited technical or trade school
- Preference is given to students pursuing aviation careers, including aircraft and power plant mechanics, avionics technicians, pilot training, air traffic control or aeronautical engineering
- Scholarship recipients may reapply for up to three additional years
- If no aviation applicants apply in a given year, preference is given to graduating seniors from Lycoming County high schools
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a graduate of a public, private, accredited home school, or cyber school program located in Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Tioga, Snyder, Sullivan or Union County, Pennsylvania
- Demonstrate financial need
- Show a strong work ethic and participation in school or community activities
