The Mandy Buchanan Creative Arts Scholarship Program is open all high school seniors attending school in, or residing in, Laurel/Jones County. This includes all public, private, and homeschool programs. This program is not limited to students planning to major in the visual arts, but applicants must be able to provide an art portfolio.
Scholarship Details
- Available to graduating high school seniors from Laurel or Jones County
- Open to students from public, private, or homeschool programs
- Awards are determined on a competitive basis
- Applicants must submit an art portfolio and letters of recommendation
- All submitted work must be original in both concept and creation
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must attend school in or reside in Laurel/Jones County
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- Must demonstrate artistic ability through a submitted portfolio

- Prepare an original art portfolio that highlights your best work
- Obtain required letters of recommendation
- Complete the scholarship application form as instructed
- Submit all materials by the stated deadline for review
The Laurel Arts League, a non-profit organization devoted to encouraging and fostering the arts, is pleased to share information for our high school scholarship program. Payment will be made directly to the recipient, and recipients will be invited to a presentation ceremony at Lauren Rogers Museum of Art.
