Rudin Scholars are outstanding entering first-year students selected from public and parochial high schools in all five boroughs of New York City. In addition to their scholarship, they participate in academic and cultural activities throughout the city.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an entering first-year student at New York University
- Must be a graduate of a public or parochial high school located in one of New York City’s five boroughs
- Must demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership potential
- Selection based on academic merit and engagement in community or extracurricular activities
Application Process
- Apply for admission to New York University as an incoming first-year student
- Ensure your academic and personal achievements are highlighted in your application materials
- Selected candidates are identified through the NYU admissions review process
- Recipients are notified by NYU if chosen for the Rudin Scholars Program
- Upon selection, participate in the academic and cultural activities organized for Rudin Scholars
The Rudin Scholars Program is named in honor of the late real estate developer and NYU alumnus Lewis Rudin. If you are from one of the five boroughs of New York City and are involved in your community, you are encouraged to apply.
