Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria
- Be a resident of Oregon
- Attend a licensed Oregon school of barbering, hair design, cosmetology or manicure
- Attend a school that participates in Federal Title IV financial aid programs and the B&H Grant Program
- Enroll full-time in a program that is at least nine months long or 900 clock hours
- Demonstrate significant financial need
Application Process
- Complete the FAFSA and include the barber or beauty school you plan to attend
- If you filed the ORSAA, contact Oregon Student Aid for assistance with printing your ORSAA to share with your school
- Contact your school and let them know you are interested in the B&H Grant
- Make sure your FAFSA or ORSAA information is received by the school you plan to attend no later than February 1st of the award year
- Apply as early as possible, since grant funding is limited and awards vary each year
