The Point Foundation Flagship Scholarship empowers LGBTQ+ and ally students who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or professional degrees at accredited colleges and universities in the United States by offering financial support, community resources, and professional development.
Scholarship Details
- Administered by the Point Foundation, the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ scholarship-granting organization
- Provides financial support based on need, renewable for up to four years
- Open to undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree students
- Includes mentorship, coaching, and leadership development opportunities
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be "out" as a member of the LGBTQ+ community or be an LGBTQ+ ally
- Must be enrolled or intend to enroll at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Eligible programs include bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, medical, law, or other professional degrees
- Must use scholarship funds during the academic year between fall and the following spring
Application Process
- Confirm eligibility and degree program at an accredited U.S. institution
- Complete the online Flagship Scholarship application through the Point Foundation website
- Provide documentation of academic achievement and financial need
- Submit personal essays reflecting your background, leadership, and community involvement
- Include references or recommendation letters as required
