Scholarship Details
- Scholarships are awarded for the upcoming academic year and cover fall and spring semesters only
- Awarded scholarships are sent directly to the school selected on the scholarship application
- Scholarship awards support college education, career technical training and specialized fields of study
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a Richland County resident or a graduate of a Richland County high school
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for new applicants or 2.0 for past scholarship recipients
- Demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA Submission Summary, Student Aid Index, and tuition package
- Be a graduating high school senior, current college student or non-traditional student
Application Process
- Create a login with the Richland County Foundation to access the scholarship application
- Complete and submit the scholarship application to be considered for available scholarship opportunities
- Select the school you plan to attend on your scholarship application
- Complete the Permission to Financial Aid Form and send it to the financial aid office at your chosen college
- Notify the Richland County Foundation of any change in school choice before or after scholarship award decisions are made
