The $2,500 Princeton Prize in Race Relations (PPRR) is awarded each year to high schoolers from more than 50 U.S. regions. The application involves a student submission and that of a sponsor alleging to the applicants' participation in a racial equity project.
Scholarship Details

- You may not be related to your sponsor
- Print applications will not be accepted
Eligibility Criteria
- Enrolled in a United States high school
- Committed to racial justice
- Record of involvement in a racial equity project
Application Process
- Prepare written responses about your involvement in a racial equity project
- Gather records of your involvement for your submission
- Complete and submit your application in advance of the deadline
- Ensure your sponsor completes and submits their portion of the application on time
Recipients of the PPRR are invited to present their work at the Princeton Symposium on Race. Presenters network with fellow recipients, Princeton students, alumni, and faculty.
