The Singhaus Scholarship for the Performing Arts is an award of up to $2,000 for Central Florida theatre students who are actively involved in the LGBTQ+ community. The scholarship aims to bring resources to these underserved students in the form of materials or funding for theatrical endeavors.
Scholarship Details

Eligibility Criteria
- Age 16 to 24
- Specific financial need
- Central Florida resident
- LGBTQ+ community involvement
- Pursuing a career, education, or further involvement in theatre
Application Process
- Fill out all required sections of the application form on the Singhaus website
- Though optional, submission of the following materials is highly recommended:
- Performance reel
- Portfolio
- Headshot
- CV and/or resume
- Do not use AI to generate or modify any of your responses
- Submit the application and all supplemental documents in advance of the deadline
Applications are due on June 13th and applicants will be notified of their acceptance status within 2 weeks from submission. Scholarship checks will be distributed to recipients at The LGBT+ Center Diversity Awards.
