Colorado Mesa University's Merit Scholarships are available for qualifying new freshmen who are admitted to a degree-seeking program. Students will automatically be awarded the following scholarships based on the highest cumulative high school GPA (weighted or un-weighted) provided on their high school transcripts. Students do not need to complete a separate application. International students and students with previous baccalaureate degrees are NOT eligible.
For the Academic Achievement Scholarship, applicants must have a 3.20 GPA. The scholarship can be renewed for a maximum of 120 credit hours as long as the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA and full-time status (12 Credit Hours/Semester) at CMU. Students applying for admission to Colorado Mesa University will automatically be considered for merit scholarships; completing an additional application is not required.
