I believe this scholarship is an amazing way to help those who need it! Expecially those who've survived domestic abuse! It would help me out so much to be able to pay for schooling, my dad and step mom can't help because they don't make enough money. with COVID-19 hitting its been even harder to pay for school. let's face it, college is expensive, we all need as much help as we can get! Good luck to all that apply!

My name is Sir'marquis Williams i would love to apply for this scholarship it would help me out so much my mom doesn't get taxes or help i was in foster care for 6 months when i was 2 years olds and I am 18 and about to get on my own, my plan is to use this scholarship for school books and half of the rest to go for a car. Yes, the government pays for your college but they do not pay for your books, so this money would be beneficial and it would also benefit my dorm living and maybe part of it in my future job position as a band director as i need this money only for me but to show my mother and sisters being the first generation graduate that it is possible for somebody to graduate even though we went through so much

I am interested in applying for this scholarship so that I may continue my education and transfer to a Univeristy. I was adopted and my foster parents are retiring which would mean that they really would not be able to support my education. I promised them I would find ways to help with my tuition and dorm fees. Any help given would be a blessing.

I would love to apply for this scholarship! it would be a tremendous help for me and my family. I was adopted 2 years ago by my aunt and uncle. They of course took me on without any extra money to help with schooling not knowing they would have me. I am in my senior year of High School and have just been accepted to Ball State University. Any help with schooling would be extremely appreciated.

I'd love to apply for this scholarship. I was put into foster care with my half brother and half sister at the age of 4. I bounced around through 21 different families and 2 group homes. I was adopted at the age of 16. I have still struggled financially due to many different reasons with the main reason being insufficient transportation to a job. I am currently staying in a hotel living day by day while supporting 3 children and their mother. I would like to give the children a good life without them having to worry about the next move as I did.

I would like like to apply to this scholarship. Growing up, my mom always tried to make sure that my brother and I were taken care of before doing anything for herself. I want to apply for this scholarship because without it I won’t be able to attend school next year. I just simply cannot afford it. Getting my degree means everything to me, and that’s why I really need to apply

I am interested in applying for this scholarship to continue furthering my education. I went into foster care at the age of 13 (due to my parents willingly giving myself an my 6 siblings up) and bounce around for several years until going to a group home that eventually lead to me going into a foster home. I would like to be one of the first of my siblings to obtain a college degree.
