Scholarship Description

Welders are in demand, there are far fewer welders than there are welding job opportunities, meaning the salary in the market is continuously rising! At Welding Near You, we are passionate about education and hard work. We understand that some students who are dedicated to their education and work hard to provide themselves with a better future need some financial help to attend the school of their dreams. That is why we proudly provide Welding Near You Support Scholarship for excellence in academics.

Scholarship Details

  • One $1,000 scholarship is available
  • The award may be used toward education expenses
  • Applicants must submit an original essay of at least 1,200 words
  • Essays are evaluated for creativity, value, and thoughtfulness
  • Plagiarized submissions will be disqualified
  • The application deadline is March 31st
  • The winner will be announced April 15th

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be currently attending or planning to attend a college or university
  • Must be in good academic standing with the current educational institution
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Applicants under age 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian

Application Process

  1. Write an original essay of at least 1,200 words on the topic "How to change jobs when you are unsure about next career move?"
  2. Prepare the essay in Microsoft Word format. PDF files and links to Google Docs are not accepted.
  3. Include your full name, college or university name, phone number, and email address with your application.
  4. Email the completed essay and required information to the scholarship provider.
  5. Submit the application by March 31st.

Applying for the scholarship is easy. We have intentionally made the application process very simple so that only a maximum number of students can apply for it. Only one winner will be selected.
