The Balanced Man Program is a four year membership development program implemented in chapters on a voluntary basis. Implementation began in Fall of 1992. The Balanced Man Program appeals to undergraduates because it concentrates on individual and chapter development. In particular, the BMP focuses on mentoring, campus and community involvement, and the Ritual. The BMP also focuses on the development of a sound mind and a sound body.
Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at Lawrence Technological University offers a scholarship opportunity to all incoming male freshmen that we see strives towards a "balanced" lifestyle. This balanced lifestyle consists of maintaining not only physical stamina, but a strong mind as well. Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity looks for young men with potential to grow in all aspects of their life. Sound mind, sound body, willingness to help in the community, and going the extra mile to help anyone in need are some key characteristics that we "SigEps" strive to achieve.
