AICPA Foundation Two-Year Transfer Scholarship is part of the AICPA Legacy Scholarships. Students interested in being considered for more than one AICPA Legacy Scholarship need to complete only one application — applicants will be evaluated for all awards for which they are eligible in the program. All applications must be completed and submitted by the deadline to be considered.

Eligibility Criteria
- Transferring from a two-year college with intent to major in accounting or an accounting-related field
- Planning to pursue CPA licensure but not currently a CPA
- Minimum overall and major GPA of 3.0
- Full-time undergraduate or graduate student for the 2024-25 academic year
- AICPA Student Affiliate member or applicant
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- Demonstrates some financial need
- Enrolling in an accredited business/accounting program meeting CPA licensure educational requirements
Application Process
- Confirm eligibility and intent to major in an accounting-related field
- Apply for AICPA Student Affiliate membership if not already a member
- Complete and submit the AICPA Legacy Scholarships application by March 15
- Provide transcripts, proof of enrollment, and any additional required documents
The AICPA Foundation Two-Year Transfer award was established in 2013 to recognize the diverse paths students take to become CPA professionals. Funding for this award is provided by the AICPA Foundation.
