The WTS Foundation awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in transportation through undergraduate and graduate programs. The scholarships are competitive and based on the applicant's specific transportation goals, academic record and transportation-related activities or job skills. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
The Sharon D. Banks Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to women pursuing undergraduate studies in transportation or a related field. Eligible applicants must: have a 3.0 GPA; have either graduated from an Oregon or southwest Washington high school or currently enrolled in a college in Oregon or southwest Washington; enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate degree program; and not previously awarded a WTS scholarship.
