The NIADA Foundation is a non-profit organization established to support the association’s charitable efforts nationwide. Each year, the NIADA Foundation provides emergency relief to fellow dealers and others in the automotive community devastated by natural disasters.
Scholarship Details
- Administered by the NIADA Foundation, supporting education in the automotive industry
- Over $400,000 in scholarships awarded in the past 15 years
- One $2,500 scholarship awarded to a student in each NIADA region
- Regional sponsorships and specific awards for students at Northwood University and the University of Texas at Arlington
- Winners notified by May
- If a winner does not respond within one month, the runner-up will receive the award
Eligibility Criteria
- High school senior or current student in at an accredited trade or vocational school, community college or university
- Legally reside in the United States
- Desire to work in the automotive industry
- Must provide an official high school transcript
Application Process
- Obtain the scholarship application form for your NIADA region
- Complete the application form fully
- Submit the application to the NIADA Foundation for your region
- Each application will be reviewed by the Scholarship Selection Committee
- One winner from each NIADA region will be selected based on merit
