Preparing for college is an exciting time, but it can also be an overwhelming undertaking, especially for students graduating during a pandemic. At Zakat Foundation of America, we value community service and students who have a volunteering spirit. This year, we want to appreciate those students who have consistently given from their time to help others.
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must be a graduating high school senior entering a 2-year or 4-year college, a resident of aplicable states and have completed high school in your respective state. Applicants must have been heavily involved in community service throughout high school. One letter of recommendation will be required of all applicants. The award is available to U.S. citizens only.
