Highland Community Church desires to invest in the next generation of church and ministry leaders by providing a scholarship opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students in central Wisconsin. As online education grows, HCC desires to support students to stay in the area while remaining actively involved in their local church.
In addition to meeting all qualifications, each applicant must submit the application and complete an interview. Based on the discretion of the scholarship committee, a recipient can receive up to $5,000 (paid directly to their school for tuition or books in two installments).
To qualify, applicants must: Possesses a genuine faith in Jesus Christ; Not be currently employed in church ministry; Be actively involved in their local church in a volunteer capacity; Pursuing a career in vocational, full-time ministry, Majoring in ministry, theology, or biblical studies; Studying online while living in central Wisconsin; Agrees with the EFCA Statement of Faith; and Enrolled as a full-time student (at least 32 credit hours per year), in graduate or undergraduate studies, at a Christian institution.
