This program provides a wide variety of higher education grants, scholarships and incentives to Chickasaw college students each semester. To be eligible to apply, you must be a Chickasaw citizen. Applicants must provide a final high school transcript (if you are an incoming freshman) and an unofficial college transcript with previous semester grades and hours as well as a semester schedule with number of hours enrolled. Applications are offered three times a year. The total number of recipients and dollar amounts will vary.
The available grants and scholarships include: Higher Education Grants; General Scholarship; Governor's, Lt. Governor's and Legislator's Scholarship; Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes Johnson-O'Malley Scholarship. There is also a Fee Assistance Grant and a Textbook Grant.
