Colorado Mesa University Academic Achievement Award

• Scholarship Description
• Merit Scholarships are available for all new freshmen that meet 2 of the 3 criteria listed for each award. Students applying for admission to Colorado Mesa University will automatically be considered for the following scholarships and completing an additional application is not required. First-year students may have up to 24 accepted college credit hours from another institution. Students who have earned more than 24 college credits in high school will still be considered for these awards.

  International students and students with previous baccalaureate degrees are not eligible.
  
  CMU's Academic Achievement Award is valued at $1,250 per academic year. Applicants must be incoming freshmen with a 3.20 GPA, be in the top 25% of their class, and have a minimum 22 ACT or 1110 combined SAT. The scholarship can be renewed for a maximum of 120 credit hours as long as the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA and full-time status (12 Credit Hours/Semester) at CMU. Students applying for admission to Colorado Mesa University will automatically be considered for merit scholarships; completing an additional application is not required.
