Scholarship Description

Faith Hope and Love Jesus, Inc. is excited to offer an annual college scholarship. This will be the easiest 500 words or more essay to write in the world. It can be on any topic or subject. Please submit a letter from your doctor documenting a history of a blood disorder or cancer diagnosed before the age of 18 along with your essay.

Scholarship Details

  • Two annual scholarships valued at $500 each
  • Open to U.S. citizens only
  • Applicants must be survivors of childhood cancer or a blood disorder diagnosed before age 18
  • Essay topic is open-ended—students may choose any subject
  • Submission deadline: May 1st each year
  • Winners announced: August 1 each year

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be a survivor of cancer or blood disorder diagnosed before age 18
  • Must be a college-bound high school senior or a currently enrolled college student

Application Process

  1. Write a 500+ word essay on any topic of your choice (PDF format)
  2. Prepare one of the following documents (PDF format):

    • Incoming freshmen: college acceptance letter
    • Current students: official or unofficial transcript
    • All students: letter from the registrar’s office confirming enrollment
  3. Obtain a letter from your doctor (on letterhead) documenting your diagnosis, including your Date of Birth and Date of Diagnosis (PDF format)
  4. Include a cover page with your name, address, phone number, and email
  5. Look for a confirmation email within one week—resubmit if not received
  6. If selected, provide an official or unofficial transcript after Fall semester to receive funds

Please remember to attach ALL 3 documents (500+word essay, school documentation, and doctor documentation) with your submission using the PDF format. The scholarship submission period begins every year on August 2nd.
