  • Scholarship Description
  • This scholarship was established to honor the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and National Guard.

    Eligibility:
    -Attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding (Pell grants, Stafford loans, PLUS loans)
    -Be a child of a member of the U.S. Armed Forces of National Guard whose residence or home of record is Vermont
    -Preference is given to candidates whose parent was killed, wounded, or became permanently disabled in service
    -Demonstrate financial need

    Required documents:
    -VSAC scholarship application
    -FAFSA
    -Letter of recommendation
    -Essay
    -Birth certificate and official military certification
