The RiSE Scholarship Foundation, Inc. was established to reward students with learning disabilities who have shown determination, self-advocacy and success in overcoming their difficulties. The RiSE Scholarship Foundation, Inc. aims to offer meaningful scholarships to award the success of students, to bring awareness and education to the subject of learning disabilities.
Eligibility:
-Be a current high school senior who has submitted applications to and is planning on attending an accredited college or university
-Be a U.S. citizen
-Have an overall 2.5 GPA or higher
-Have a documented learning disability (a diagnosis of ADHD or ADD alone does not qualify)
-Provide a letter of reference from a teacher, high school counselor, or principal of present high school on the enclosed form; the recipient must provide RISE Scholarship Foundation, Inc. proof of registration to accepted college or university for the scholarship to be issued the fall semester of the same year that the award is presented
