  • Scholarship Description
  • Scholarships are awarded to Roller Skating Association member's employees or children (includes supplier/manufacturer and coaching member children.) A $4,000 first place academic scholarship and a $3,000 second place academic scholarship will be awarded.

    Eligibility:
    -Must have at least a 3.4 GPA
    -Be a high school senior who can be certified to be a child of an owner or an employee of a RSA Skating center or employee of a RSA affiliated member
    -Must have a composite score on the ACT/SAT which places the applicant in the 85th percentile or higher
    -Write a 500-700-word personal essay explaining how roller skating has influenced your life and your future and how the scholarship would help you achieve those goals.
    -Supplement the application with a letter of reference from: your RSA member rink/owner or affiliate member, your guidance counselor, and one teacher.
