  • Scholarship Description
  • Students who are nominated for an IIE Scholarship are eligible for the John L. Imhoff Scholarship provided they meet the emphasis on the international component and submit a complete application package. The John L Imhoff Scholarship is available to a student pursuing an industrial engineering degree who, by academic, employment and/or professional achievements, and has made noteworthy contributions to the development of the industrial engineering profession through international understanding. IIE membership is not required for this award.

    Candidates must be pursuing a B.S. in an accredited IE Program or have a B.S. in IE and be pursuing a master's or doctorate degree in an accredited IE program.

    Application packets must include:
    -A written essay describing candidate's international contributions to, or experience in, industrial engineering
    -An original transcript showing at least a 3.40 on a 4.0 scale and full-time status
    -Three references reinforcing applicant's contributions to the industrial engineering profession through international understanding
