  • Scholarship Description
  • The Henry N. Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund Inc. ("The HNB Fund") was created to recognize and reward African-American High School students in Spotsylvania County (Virginia), that will be pursuing a higher education. The purpose of the HNB Fund is to provide financial assistance to students that will be entering a four-year college upon graduation. The intent is to help these students achieve their highest potential through an education, which in turn, will make them productive members in their communities.

    Applicants MUST meet all of the following criteria:
    -Be a graduating Female or Male from a Spotsylvania County High School
    -Have a GPA 3.0 or greater
    -Demonstrate financial need
    -Performed Community Service work
    -Write a one-page essay on one of the topics
