  • Lisa Laine Miller, began her journey as an artist struggling to make ends meet. Unbelievably, two of her high school art teachers personally contributed to her first college courses and the inspiration for the future Tenfold Initiative was born. Through this, we were inspired to create The Tenfold Initiative to honor the dedicated teachers and mentors in our lives. Particularly, Lisa's own high school art teacher, Jan Dewey, who leaves an everlasting impact nearly 20 years later.

    The Tenfold Initiative Scholarship is available to a high school senior (graduating before July) who is located in the Central Ohio region. Students must be enrolled or accepted at a university, college, or art school as a declared major in a visual arts program for the upcoming school year. The scholarship submission consists of a completed application form (attached), four artwork samples (personal selection), high school transcripts, a 500 word essay, and two letters of recommendation.
