  • Scholarship Description
  • The Virginia W. Smith Scholarship was established in 2004 by Mrs. Smith's husband, family, and friends in recognition of her strong commitment, through the North Country Garden Club and The Garden Club of America, in the areas of horticulture, conservation, and environmental studies. The scholarship will be awarded to a local student in the twelfth grade who has maintained satisfactory grades and who has a desire to further his/her interest in horticulture, conservation or environmental issues through the collegiate level.
