• Scholarship Description
• The University of Iowa offers the Advantage Iowa Award to incoming first-year students who are not residents of Iowa. Applicants must be students that are from historically underrepresented populations (Alaskan Native, American Indian/ Native American, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, two or more underrepresented races) at the University of Iowa or participation in a federally funded Upward Bound program. Merit is also a criteria. Winners must maintain a 2.0 minimum GPA and enroll as a full-time student. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider’s website.
