  • Scholarship Description
  • Sponsored by Institute of the International Education of Students, the HACU-IES Abroad Scholarship is available to students who are currently attending a Hispanic-Serving Institution that is a member of Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU).

    Eligibility:
    -Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
    -Apply to/ accepted to and enroll in a summer, semester or academic year IES Abroad program. (January Term programs are not eligible)
    -Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 required
    -Demonstrate financial need
    -Priority given to first generation college students and/or Federal Pell Grant recipients.

    There are two separate deadlines, based on when you are applying: Fall/Academic Deadline is May 1, and Spring/Calendar year deadline is October 15. For further details and how to apply, please visit the provider's site.
