Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must currently reside in Rhode Island
  • Must be high school seniors at any high school in Rhode Island
  • Applicants must have been accepted by an accredited post-secondary institution

Application Process

  1. Complete the online application form
  2. Submit a personal essay reflecting Roger Williams's principles and legacy
  3. Provide financial information and demonstrate financial need
  4. Applicants must upload transcripts, proof of residency, and a Student Aid Report
  5. Applications are due by midnight on February 28th

The scholarship provides up to $20,000 in educational aid, per student per year, for graduating high school seniors in Rhode Island. Awards are renewable for up to three consecutive years following the first award, with proof of continued financial need and academic good standing.
